Leo is the sign of the Sun, warm and regal. The pose then reflects this personality: gracefully sitting with the legs on the side, this figure holds one arm stretched forward on her legs and her head is high towards the world that is there to admire her.
The dress she wears, soft and baroque, emphasizes her figure, starting from the medallion on her chest, golden like a radiant sun. The thick and curly hair falls over the shoulders and surrounds her face like a lion mane, while a golden band symbolizes the crown of the king of the Zodiac.
The colors of the Lion are gold and ocher, and so here the eyes are of an almost yellow mustard color, like those of the majestic feline, and the hair tends to the blond of the summer wheat.
As the other Fire signs in this collection, Leo’s dress is embellished with radially curled lace from the gilded medallion. The symbol of the sign is recalled precisely by this last detail, from which a long tail starts and surrounds the shoulders of the figure.
Finally, the base is red, recalling the belonging to the Fire element.

Every product created by Sibania is unique both concerning the realization process of every single piece and the production technology, which boasts its being inimitable by others. Each item is hand made and hand painted in our workshop, set in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin, porcelain layers on which different kinds of textures are impressed. These layers are cutted according to the characteristics of every single template. They are successively carefully applied on the figurine body. Hairstyles are also handcrafted depending on each figurine’s unique features. Faces, clothes and accessories are painted on the biscuit with non-toxic colors. The piece is eventually baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details such as violin strings or the Vespa kickstands are then applied on the finished piece.
