Libra according to the Zodiac
Libra is the first sign of Autumn, a season of evaluations and of choices, inevitable but made with great serenity.
Constantly in search of balance, Libra is aware that true balance is not found in solitude but in the relationships, and that true integration involves the true acceptance of the Other. Beauty, kindness, delicacy and respect are undeniable characteristics of the sign: in fact, he loves Pleasure and Beauty in all its forms, starting from relationships.
However predisposed to balance and harmony, though, he is actually very often tormented by strong insecurities. With a more rational rather than emotional predisposition, Libra puts reality as it is on the one plate and the ideal and unreal image on the other: in the middle there is the choice, the compromise. He is an idealist and a perfectionist, and suffers a lot from not seeing his idyllic vision materialized.
Conformity, for fear of being marginalized and isolated, is one of the easiest traps for the sign.

Libra is a sign that seeks harmony and justice in every choice, this figure’s position is therefore frontal, elevated over the others, and seemingly with the arms weighing the possibilities.
Position and dress reflect the duplicity of the sign: the asymmetrical arms contrast the lower line of the dress, which from very high becomes very low.
The hairstyle is composed and refined, with a braid that runs around the head and closes with a bow on the nape, and represents Libra’s strong aesthetic sense.
Libra colors are pink and emerald green, which are found in the dress and in the bow that adorns the hair, while blue, secondary color for the sign, gives light to the eyes, crystalline and pure. The hair is brown, indicating the period not yet wintry.
As in the other Air signs, the figure is embellished with a light and irregular lace.
The Libra symbol is synthesized in the collar that surrounds the figure’s chest and shoulders.
Finally, the base is blue, reminding us of its belonging to the Air element.

Every product created by Sibania is unique both concerning the realization process of every single piece and the production technology, which boasts its being inimitable by others. Each item is hand made and hand painted in our workshop, set in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin, porcelain layers on which different kinds of textures are impressed. These layers are cutted according to the characteristics of every single template. They are successively carefully applied on the figurine body. Hairstyles are also handcrafted depending on each figurine’s unique features. Faces, clothes and accessories are painted on the biscuit with non-toxic colors. The piece is eventually baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details such as violin strings or the Vespa kickstands are then applied on the finished piece.
