About this collection
The PETS collection was born with a bit of fun by observing today’s children, animal lovers and thrown since early childhood into fantasy worlds: it is not uncommon to see kitten ears appearing through the hair of a laughing little head on the street.
Our children here have identified themselves so much with the animals they so admire that they imitate them with clothes and accessories, giving life to this witty and playful collection.
Our porcelain figures come from a strictly handcrafted process. This means that, even in reproducing faithfully the original model, every single piece will be slightly different from all the others of the same kind, as in the drapes, hairs and painting.
Every piece is therefore unique and defined by our exceptional attention to details, the high quality of our materials and the certainty of having a handmade product, which are certified also by the markings we put under every piece, such as the "made in Italy" stamp and our signature or logo.
This figurine is part of the collection inspired by the love for animals. In particular, this little girl disguises herself as a small and precious bee.
In fact, her dress has yellow and black stripes and hidden on the tail there is a black sting. The collar, on the other hand, is made of soft white tulle, echoing the hairy torso of the bee, while on the back a large white bow recalls its wings. The eyes are black like the hair, that are gathered in two oval buns almost as if they were the round eyes of a bee, while the bangs are pointed like a muzzle. She offers us a warm-colored flower in her hand, to invite her little friends to collect the nectar.
Height: 11 cm
Every product created by Sibania is unique both concerning the realization process of every single piece and the production technology, which boasts its being inimitable by others. Each item is hand made and hand painted in our workshop, set in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin, porcelain layers on which different kinds of textures are impressed. These layers are cutted according to the characteristics of every single template. They are successively carefully applied on the figurine body. Hairstyles are also handcrafted depending on each figurine’s unique features. Faces, clothes and accessories are painted on the biscuit with non-toxic colors. The piece is eventually baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details such as violin strings or the Vespa kickstands are then applied on the finished piece.
