Michela – limited Edition for Mother’s Day 2026

This year for Mother’s Day, we’ve chosen to treat ourselves to the lightness and beauty of the butterfly with this figurine named Michela.

Everything in the new limited edition figurine is inspired by this symbol of rebirth and immortality: the dress with its themed print is billowing and almost floating, the bodice extends over the fluttering sleeves as if formed by two light wings, the center-parted hair falls softly over the shoulders and is embellished with curled ribbons at the sides of the neck.

The ballet dancer’s pose draws attention to the blue butterfly that has delicately settled in the figurine’s hand, which she shows us with care and wonder, in a silent moment of wonder.

As every year, the limited edition for Mother’s Day is numbered at the base and will be produced in a limited edition of only 50 copies.

Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique, both in its individual creation and in its production technique, which is unparalleled and makes it difficult to replicate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our workshop in the province of Vicenza, Italy. The clothes are made from thin sheets of porcelain, onto which textures are silkscreened. These sheets are cut according to the garment model and then painstakingly applied to the body of the statue. Even the hairstyles are hand-crafted each time. Faces, clothes, and accessories are painted on the “bisque” terracotta with non-toxic colors; the piece is then subjected to a further firing called “third firing.” Any additional details, such as violin strings or wasp stands, are then applied to the finished piece.
