Michelle – Mother’s Day 2024

Michelle is the limited edition for Mother’s Day 2024.

Michelle sits on the ground barefoot, with her legs bent to the side, almost curled up, her back straight and her head slightly bent on one shoulder, with sweetness and benevolence. Her arms, resting softly on her skirt, highlight the shape of her body, while an open fan rests lightly in one of her hands. Her hair is loose on her shoulders, gathered with two green ribbons behind her ears with an almost childish appearance.

Her dress consists of a wide, soft, puffy skirt, draped from a mint green porcelain sheet with a coffee-colored flower print. A light blouse with balloon sleeves puffs out over her skirt, with three slits on the lower hem to emphasize the rounded shape of her figure. The blouse is pink, the characteristic color of the series dedicated to Mother’s Day, which we have kept very pale here while it is then accentuated on the fan, in a beautiful antique pink with coffee-colored decorations.

Finally and as always, under the round base there is our signature and the serial number, while the guarantee with her name is tied to her wrist.

Every product created by Sibania is unique both concerning the realization process of every single piece and the production technology, which boasts its being inimitable by others. Each item is hand made and hand painted in our workshop, set in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin, porcelain layers on which different kinds of textures are impressed. These layers are cutted according to the characteristics of every single template. They are successively carefully applied on the figurine body. Hairstyles are also handcrafted depending on each figurine’s unique features. Faces, clothes and accessories are painted on the biscuit with non-toxic colors. The piece is eventually baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details such as violin strings or the Vespa kickstands are then applied on the finished piece.
