Serena was born from the desire to express how much femininity there is in the Sibania workshop. The idea for this very small limited edition came precisely from here, from the workshop and its artisans, and everyone loved it right away!
We chose this figure to keep close the symbols of the movement against gender-based violence: the red bench and the red shoes. Serena’s entire aesthetic revolves around this: the figure is deliberately left in warm pastel tones, leaving only the bright red to stand out against everything else.
Serena occupies the empty space on the bench, which otherwise symbolises what cannot be seen but only felt. She, instead, is present: she sits on the past and fills it, her gaze turned forward, full of hope.
“Serena” is a wish for all women and for all oppressed and forgotten people.
